Messages of Support for Occupy Sydney & Occupy’s Everywhere

I’m Bern, from Occupy Sydney. I wanted to make messages of support to show my gratitude to everyone that has been a part of the Occupy Movement. It has and continues to be the most inspiring action I have participated in and witnessed.

Knowing that other people are willing to sacrifice comfort for change and action kindness and support for each other, to listen and learn and grow with each other. To be willing to castaway the addictions of consumerism and step up to be empowered leaders, is the most amazing and honestly humbling experience of my life.

Thank you so much for opening up to new ideas and understandings. Thank you so much for your patience while I do my best to open up and learn how I can best embody the changes that have unfolded in my life since Occupy Wall Street and Occupy Sydney began.

Watching Occupy Wall Street and participating in Occupy Sydney have both been very different experiences. I recommend that everyone action the change you wish to see in this movement. Go out, connect and talk to people about what Occupy is for you.

I made messages of support so our Occupiers here in Sydney could see that they are supported, and what they are doing matters and is appreciated. I want them to know I believe in the power of their actions. I support them and people all over Australia and the World support them too.

Thank you to Occupiers past, present and future. We need all of you. I believe that together we can change the world. That is my wish.
